The Treasurer is a key member of any organization, responsible for managing the financial affairs and ensuring fiscal responsibility. Duties typically include overseeing the budget, maintaining accurate financial records, handling incoming and outgoing funds, and preparing financial reports for review by the board or members, monthly.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6.
Our offerings have dwindled the last few years, but thankfully we’ve been able to pay all of our expenses and keep the church functioning, by reducing our expenses to keep in line with offerings.
